You are right. As long as you are not in tune and happy with your inner self, you wont be able to succeed with losing wait. I know this, because I have been there myself. My best advice to you is to start seeing someone. I have seen a psychologist for the last few years and it has been the biggest help. It's allowed me to let out my feeling and to learn about who I am and what I want in my life. Not to mention that it is so great to speak to someone who is very unbiased and can give you advice from a very understanding and eye-opening perspective.
That's why I'm on two diets at the same time...I get twice the calories.
Try Paul McKenna's I can make you thin CD. It uses hypnotherapy to reprogramme your mind so that you only eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full. I've found it very helpful.
