Actually, a lot of that stuff is pretty good. The bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich hurts with the bacon and mayo. Maybe if you started making your own mayo and dips you can make healthy varieties. I like the 1/3 less fat cream cheese (Neufchatel) better than the regular stuff, and way better than the non-fat stuff, but the non-fat isn't as horrible as it sounds. It's what I make my dips out of. The mayo might even be healthy if you used the right ingredients, like olive oil, and left out the sugar.
Like I said earlier, 5 to 7 servings isn't a lot. My one large glass of orange juice counts as two servings, and that's before I even eat breakfast. So I'm down to 3 to 5 before I even start eating.
Learn to cook if you want variety. I make pizza with whole wheat mixed in the dough, and tomato sauce counts as a vegetable. So do the other toppings like onions, green peppers, olives, pineapple, whatever you like. So what if I add some pepperoni or hamburger, we're all going to die anyways. We're just trying to be healthy enough to enjoy the ride.
You can stuff things into the vegetables, or stuff the vegetables into things. You don't have to be bored with your food. The same with fruit. Fruit toppings on things, or even fruit pies are healthy if you go easy on the sugar.
I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy, but I know how to have fun with my food, so it's not always meat and potatoes.
