Every evening at 10:00 PM, I eat a light snack before going to bed. It consists of diet yogurt that is mixed with fruit and a half a cup of corn flakes or similar cereal. I have Type 1 diabetes, and it is very important for me that I have enough carbohydrates to carry me through the night. This means that in the middle of the night, my blood sugars can not get to low. What I strongly recommend is that you talk to a trained dietician, or other health professional, that can put you on a specific plan that can meet your personal needs. Good luck.
