what is the best english-hebrew hebrew-english dictionary? The Bantam Meggido one I have isnt adequate. The 5 volume Alcalay is to big.
I like Oxford... it usually isn't missing any words when I look things up.
I had a concise Alkalai which was good, but a little outdated. There is the red Silberman and also Oxford (not for students) edited by Yaacov Levy , Kernerman and Lonnie Kahn Publishers. None of them is perfect, but they are helpful.
