Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
High levels of sugar in your blood makes the blood more viscouse (hard to flow) and it doesn't reach the tiny blood vessels (in many organs: e.g - eyes, kidneys, etc).  It is common that diabetic people have problems with their blood circulation and that leads probably to the pains in your legs.  Please get a medical check, make sure your sugar level is OK, do as much sport as you can (that is essential for you).  Hope your colesterol level and your blood pressure are both OK.
Best regards,

97 thumbs up

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

You need to see a doctor as soon as possible. These are probably foot ulcers and need to be treated before they start to become infected. I have diabetes, and I know the potential dangers that are involved. If you can't see your doctor, go to a hospital and get them treated. DON'T WAIT.

I see this is an old question so I hope you got medical attention and got the sores cleared up. Any sores on the feet can become serious problems for a diabetic. I am diabetic and used to have problems with the bottoms of my feet burning. I started using Gold Bond Medicated Body Powder on the bottoms of my feet every morning. Just a light sprinkle rubbed on the bottom of my feet and between my toes cleared up the problem and it hasn't returned in over a year. The powder is cheap, a small bottle lasts a very long time, and it works for me. Hope this helps.
