Yes, I do believe that we can get involved with people who are actually demonic. The Bible tells us that the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. The enemy is not after those that are of the world because he knows he already have them. He is after the people of God, that is his mission.
Thank God for his spirit so that we can discern those that seek to destroy us. There is not a devil in hell that can destroy you as long as you have Jesus. Always remember to keep looking to the hills from whence cometh your help, and ask God to reveal anything that is not right to you.

Hi Asha. I believe that we can get into relationships with people who intend to cause us harm, both physical and mental: however, I don't think these people are "demons" since I don't believe in demons - they are sociopaths.

Really? I know a lot of people who believe in God/Jesus (me not included) who have died horrible deaths from cancer, etc. Why would we suffer intolerable pain if Jesus is in your life. He can't protect you, only you can. The devil does not live among us...the devil is inside certain people, but I don't mean literally, I mean their behaviour. People go through their whole life not experiencing the true beauty of this earth because they are afraid of everything and everyone. Wake up and live now, before you can't begin to enjoy it now. Praying doesn't help!

Asha, I know many people interpret the Bible literally, but I personally believe that's a bit extreme.
As you go through life, you will meet many people. Some will seem angelic to you, others will seem demonic. Do you think that means that the former are angels? If not, then it cannot follow that the latter are demons.
Behavior is just that, behavior. Sometimes it stems from mental illness or personality characteristics, and sometimes it's because the person is a true sociopath; as Tyrebitre points out.
'Demon' is merely a label man devised to explain that which he did not understand.

I do believe that I have been involved in personal relationships with angels... or maybe I should say; (people under an angelic influence). I'm a Christian, so stand firm in my faith in God's Written Word... {A belief in this Spiritual War that's going on around us 24/7}
