Is it definately too late to file a 2004 amended Maine tax return

can I file an amended 2004 return for a Maine refund that is passed the 3-year statue.  Failed to realize that we could deduct certain income modifications, 2005, 2006 and 2007 amended returns have been filed and have received most of our refunds.  With today's economy I could really use the refund for 2004.
