A:

Hello,

Bible consists of both Old Testament and New Testament, and there are many contradictions between them. One of the examples is:

Exodus 21:15-17:
"And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death."
"And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death."
"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death."
LEVITICUS 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death.. Their blood shall be upon them."

This contradicts directly to the whole New Testament.

Or for example:

JOH 10:30 I and my Father are one.

JOH 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

There is a big list of contradictions, and it is on each person to decide which part of Bible to ignore. You cannot at the same time believe that you should kill someone as said in Old Testament, and not to kill as said in New Testament.

Regards
