In regard to making a bedroom seem larger, What if your bed has a head board and foot board which are both adding width to the bed. HOw do you address that without just not using them?

I am not sure if i did understand you correctly but as far as I did you would like to add some space to bedroom but you have a bed with two boards, right? I think that I would try to get rid if the bord that is on the foot site and just leave the one on the head site. Please let me know what you had in mind more specificly.
