I have access to some really beautiful stone tiles, along with other sorts of tiles. They range from 12x12 to 14x14. What can I use those for to beautify my home.. Some suggestions!
make a mosiac backspash or use them to mosiac a large flower pot. Two flower pots done with broken tile would look great to frame a doorway or window sill. Strike the tile with a small hammer, take the peices and glue, thinset, or otherwise apply them to your clay pot/backsplash in a close pattern taking care not to harm yourself on the sharp edges. when complete you then mix a complementary grout and apply it on and around the tiles pressing firmly. within 15 minutes your ready to unveil with a semi-damp sponge slowly working the grout away to expose the tile but cover the edges. Add some glass tile, perhaps as small as 1 inch square to make it sparkle. Good luck.
