I have taken down a wall between the kitchen and family room which has made the space 14' wide by 42'long. New cabinets will be white, island and bar area will be antique black, all with carera marble counter tops. Appliances will be stainless with the exception of the 6 burner gas stove which will be bright red. Oak hardwood floors. Two sets of french doors. One window and additional two 36" wide door openings. Lots of recessed lighting and pendant lights. Furniture for family room is light slate blue background with cream, some light gold and raspberry peony looking flowers. Antique Brick fireplace with dark wood mantel on end wall which goes to top of cathedral ceiling. I need help with paint color. Hardly any wall space showing in kitchen but need paint color that will compliment entire area. Should I do slate/blues or gold tones or something else.
