I dont have debt but i am deny credit

Because i could get 15% off my purchased total, i agreed to apply for a credit card.  I have never been denied a credit card and so i was surprised when they told me that i was not approved but thought nothing of it.  I then proceeded to obtain 3 credit card reports and dont see anything there that will indicate why i was denied credit and left it alone.  Got a letter from the company telling me that my credit was undesiderable, but never had problems before so did not think too much of it. That was 5 months ago.  Today i apply for another credit card and was again not approved but they told me that my credit was less than desirable.  I dont know what to think of it. I use other credit cards and i pay them on time and dont have any debt.  Why can my credit have gone bad? how can i find out why my credit shows undesiderable reports but the reports i get are fine.

Think about the credit industry.  Companies don't give credit cards because they are nice people.  They give out credit cards to make money.  They look at how many cards you have, what is your liability, do you have a job and how long have you had it?  There are all kinds of reasons, and another is, if you pay everything off right away then they can't make money on the interest they want to charge you when you have an unpaid balance.  If you are totally honest with yourself I believe there is something you can figure out why someone is not willing to trust you with their money.
