Every time you freeze a slab of meat the bacteria that infest it (every meat has some bacteria on it) do not die. So every time you thaw it back the bacteria continue to grow – thus it become much more dangerous.



It is not that dangerous to freeze more then once if the environment is clean and the meat was fresh to begin with – but supermarket frozen meat is the lowest of the low.
