I know where your coming from. I recently went through this with my parents. My Mom had Myltipule Myloma (Bone Cancer) she lay imoble for weeks before she passed I shared these same concerns with the hospise nurse and her reply was not  to feed her cancer, I thought this was very inhumane. I gave her baby food and ensure until she could't swallow.  Good luck, it's a very hard to go through.

Don't give up!!!

Hi Amber, I worked at a facility for alzheimers patients as the kitchen mgr. We had a good number of residents that required a pureed diet due to the same problem that your dad is experiencing. Everything can be pureed, and made to taste good. Of course, you need a food processor. For beef or pork, cut the meat into small chunks and puree with a little beef stock until you have the consistency required. The same with chicken, but add chicken broth instead. Do the same for vegetables...steam or simmer until done, chop, and puree adding a bit of stock. If you have any other questions, Amber, please feel free to ask me. Best of luck to your family

This may sound silly. You should alsways check with the doctors... Until you have a chance to do that I would try baby food. Good luck and God belss.
