I currently weigh 219 lbs. I'm looking to lose weight and maintain a healthier lifestyle. I have set out on my new mission...exercising every day and taking in 1500 calories a day, but I feel like this may be too many calories to lose weight? How do I know how many calories I should be eating if I'm aiming to lose 2 pounds a week?
It is difficult for me to give you an exact answer that will be of the most benefit to you, as I am unaware of certain details about yourself. Determining the amount of calories that you must eat in a day in order to lose weight depends not only your current weight, but also your age, sex, height, and your daily exercise level.

Good luck.
This is some good info here http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1117577/trying_to_lose_weight.html
just eat small portions every time you get something to snack on and chew your food about 15-20 times each bite. I done that for a week and I lost 15 pounds and I,m only 15 years old. But don't feel bad about your self because I hated my personal apperance so bad that I used to cut my wrist.
You can try some cardiovascular exercises like running or biking as they are most effective in calorie-burning. If you do it for at least 30-40 minutes in 4-5 times a week, you will lose a pound or two. You might want to visit:
