I have been a Cosmetologist for 31 years. I am gathering that you have naturally curly hair, but you had a straightner put in it to get rid of the curls. Now you want curls again with a perm. What you would be doing is putting 2 very strong chemical procedures on your hair. My reccommendation would be to wait until this perm you have in is out or almost out then put a perm in to make it curly. What could happen if you put a perm on perm is your hair could break off a little or a lot. Also, I have seen people come in with 2 chemical applications like that and he perm doesnt take like it should and it is a real ugly mess. I would wait for sure. Hope this helps.
