How to cure a bad hangover

After a really fun New Years Eve party, I'm having a hard time getting back on track today. My husband and I are in major need of a pick-me-up. We are both suffering the usual symptoms: headache, stomach ache/nausea etc; bad hangovers! What can we do?

Drink a lot of water.

Your headache is a reaction of the body being dehydrated, it will cure only if you keep on drinking water. Don't drink sugar beverages, it will only get it worse...

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
Don't want to frighten you but it can easily be Alcohol Poisoining and it can be fatal.  So the best thing to do is ask a good friend to take you to the nearest hospital.  Make sure that friend didn't have an extra glass as well.  Here is a nice article that elaborates on the subject.
Best regards,

Time is the only cure for hangovers. All other purported remedies may help alleviate symptoms, but they won't remove them completely.

Thanks for all the great answers. You were right, time and a LOT of water is the best cure! I was definitely dehydrated.  I had to deal with losing most of the day to my recovery but it was also nice to have an excuse for me and my husband to be lazy for a day. Next new years we will know to limit ourselves more. I also read that if you drink water with alcohol you are less likely to get a hangover because you stay more hydrated. I will have to try that out next time I am out for a "wild" night on the town.
