You could try Ravelry.com. It's a free site, add your name to the mailing list and you'll be a member in a couple of days. It's a truly wonderful site for knitters and crocheters with unbelievable free resources, forums, patterns galore and plenty of knitters and crocheters to get advice from.
I just checked and there are lots of crocheted bag patterns! Yay!
