Criminal public records free, criminal court records search?

Criminal public records free, criminal court records search?
Is it possible to perform a criminal public records free search - many websites that advertise free online criminal record searches are not free, there is always a charge.
Thanks.

ADD:
NO worry, I used Gov criminal records check : a small fee, but much better than wasting time with the hundreds of little sites offering (not so) free criminal public records checks - with dodgy info...
Plus most criminal records sites only search individual states. With the importance of a criminal record search, it was crucial for me that I could do a Nationwide search with reliable info...

I think any criminal immigrant should be punished and no I don't believe the ones that do continue to return should be allowed back. However good point I think if we do capture them doing something illegal they should be placed in our jails and do their time.

Call the local State Attorney Generals Office - The report will come with an administrative fee.

You can get a Criminal History Report on line is faster though

If you are going into a financial position, then the credit report may be very important to the employer as it shows how responsible you may be. If most of the "messed up" history is older, I wouldn't worry too much.. we all make mistakes when we're "young and stupid"

Depends ENTIRELY on each State law, In some States once you qualify an expungement is just a formality - you can do it yourself. In others it's more complex, and will cost more - if possible.

In many States, only a single offense can be expunged - and some don't allow it at all.

You can check criminal public record free on the government operated websites, such as from the site of the state where you live. Usually the info is not very good and it might take a while to get your results. Best to you a good pay website.

Cheers
