Criminal background check services, police records Are there any online criminal background check services who supply reliable and up to date info? I also need to do a countrywide search. Thanks. ------- ADD: I foundd Gov criminal background check services . Their data lists seem large, trustworthy and with recent info. I was also able to perform my background checks Nationwide. Hope someone can get something out of this info.
The Housing and Urban Development in their Grants Available page makes it clear that they do not provide grants to individuals -- hence no grants for a person to buy a home http://www.hud.gov/grants/index.cfm"While HUD does not offer direct grants or loans to individuals, they do work through local governments and non-profit organizations to make financial assistance and counseling available."

Ta was searching for good info on criminal background check services. Was wondering how exhaustive a process they are. Will they check family, will they have background checks run on them too? And what about financial problems. Would they worry about that as well?
Yeah, I was looking for criminal background check services for criminal history records - but must be a nationwide police background check - not just local records.

If you have not been convicted of a felony then you will pass a criminal background check. Many states have judicial records online. Check to see if that state has the records online, type in the name and see what it pulls up...
misdemeanors that old likely will not show up, generaly for a fee you can go to the police dept and they will print out a report for you
When potential employers do a background check what are they checking for?
Do they call previous employers, do a criminal background, credit check? Which one is the main one that is done in a job background check?
