How do stalkers have the time and money to stalk?

Stalking is free.  If they had a life, they wouldn't have the time for stalking.

Stalking is an obession.  Most stalkers work regular jobs and in their off time they stalk instead of hanging with friends, ballgames, the gym etc.  They do not live the "normal" life that most of us are accustomed to.  Stalking is the stalkers other life.  Of course, stalking is free unless they get caught and go to jail.  I categorize criminals into two basic types, organized and disorganized.  An organized stalker will have pre-planned his/her event and be careful and cautious to not get caught or leave any evidence.  Naturally, the disorganized stalker will be the complete opposite and operate from raw emotions, not pre-plan, leave eveidence and eventually get caught.  However, after a while of committing crimes, even the most careful criminal will become overly confident and this is when they let their guard down and hopefully get caught before someone gets raped or murdered. 

In my opinion - people who stalk, they make it a top priority and they make the time and find the money, even if it calls for sacrifice somewhere else in their budget. They'd probably go without food to feed whatever their obsession was.

Stalking is not free. It takes gas money to follow people and go where they go.....maybe you are talking about internet stalking where you just watch someone ?? Real stalking, I would think, would take quite a bit of money.

I don't really know the answer but will take a stab at it. All you really have to do is pick a person to stalk who lives close and sit in their bushes, sit on the bus bench in front of their job and after you get their name you can get their phone number and call them repeatedly. All that doesn't really take alot of time or money. Besides when you're a psycho stalker time is relative to what you are doing right now.
