Hi. I am a college student looking for advice on applying for a new credit card. What are the best student credit cards? Are there any free student credit cards that offer decent rewards or cash back?

Check out Bank of America they offer a Student Account with 5 years of no maintenance fees...and offer some cash back rewards depending on how much money you spend. Plus the best thing is they have locations all across the country--if you travel.

Finding free student credit cards should be easy if you have no bad credit history. However, finding one that dishes rewards would be difficult. While certain cards, like Discover offer 5% cash back on gas and auto maintenance, most student credit cards do not carry more than 1% cash back benefits. For more credit card recommendations you will find that BillShrink.com is worth a visit. With a higher credit limit, you will be better qualified to receive a regular credit card with good rewards.

Check out a site called FindCollegeCards that focuses on student credit cards .  You should be able to find a card rather easily as long as you're going to school, and you can show that you can pay off your bill on time in the future.
