Survivor, I am sorry to hear of your difficulties in navigating the legal justice system.

Without knowing all the particulars of your case, it is difficult for me to suggest exactly what you should do.

Here is what I would do were I in your position:

I would first contact the domestic violence hotline (I gave you their web site) and explain my situation to them. If they could not help me, I would ask them for names/numbers of others who might.

Then I would contact the major newspaper in my area. I would ask to speak to the News Editor in charge and I would explain my story and ask if s/he felt the legal system's actions warranted a look see.

If I got nowhere with those steps, I would keep calling and writing everyone I could (to include my Congressman) until I got someone to listen.

Remember, sometimes you are your own best advocate. Also, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!

    Thank you ,I have been involved with the domestic violence hotline center ,infact we were @ the shelter for a while ,and the same thing ,still no reply ,this case started of march of 2009 ,I will keep trying to seek help regarding my case till I get some answer..thank you again ,have a wonderfull day !
