The first category is not necessarily restricted to men.This impression may arise out of the fact that men do not fight shy of doing so. In fact,their efforts are towards underlining themselves. Women also desire it but make it appear as if they do not care though they are aware that it is such an attitude that secures more attention to them.
The second category is already conained in the women referred to above.The cosmetics used are costly but are such that their use is not discernible. In fact, that is its distinctive character.
Almost everybody would come under this category but their intense effort is not to expose themselves.
These efforts are difficult. It is like for somebody who is dying of thirst to ;post as if he/she had had enough of water.
