hey you two, i love your I-show. I am 43 and basically have nothing, dont own a house, no credit cards, and was in a car accident 4 years ago and put on disability. My husband is a blue collar a/c worker and makes comm only. Can you two tell me how to get my credit built, even if there is a high intrest unsecure card to start with? I am frustrated because no one will give me a chance. All the deals out there like rooms to go ,I could afford to buy some new furniture, which I never have owned before with thier no intrest low payment deal, but they wont let me. and I thought banks were saposed to start lending again what happend there, I have a 93 lincoln and its in good shape but i tryed to do the cash for clunker and they wouldnd do it for me. how do they expect people like myself to ever own anything if they dont give me a legitament try?? can you help, like where do i start? I dont expect a lot I just wanna a chance. I screwed up when i was younger but at 43 I should at least own a home. We have rented the same house for 9 years, my husband said we have paid it off for the landlords already. it was 66k when they baught it, and here we are still paying rent.
