Looking for craftsman exterior door

I am looking for a free or reasonably priced exterior craftsman style door for my home. I live in east tx and would drive a reasonable distance to pick-up.

Anything you don't normally do in your work day is "Adult Play" at home...  For me, it's mowing lawn.

I haven't a clue as to where you can get a free door.  Here are some thoughts:

  • Try googling 'architectural salvage'... we have one here and the door prices are reasonable.
  • Place an ad in your local 'Shopper Stopper' or newspaper... someone may have one collecting dust, having replaced it with something else.
  • Any buildings about to be remodeled or demolished?  Old furnishings, like doors, may be available for cheap.
  • Try your local building supply place... sometimes they have returns that they will sell for less.
  • Place an ad on Craig's list, or other service in your area.

Other than biting the bullet and buying a new door, I'm out of ideas.  Good luck in your search!
