How can a make glue not wrinkle paper? I am trying to make a baby footprint using the side of my hand and glue and glitter. I am making baby shower invites and the glitter footprint will be on vellum paper, and the glue keeps wrinkling the paper.

You are using the wrong type of glue. If it has too much water base, it is soaking into the paper. Try cutting out the baby footprint as a stencil and using a spray fixative to attach the glitter to the vellum paper. Another way would be to cut the baby footprints out of a glitter foil paper and attach them to the vellum. Good Luck.
