Looking for a cover version of a Beatles song

A friend of mine heard a cover-version of The Beatles' song "And I Love Her", sung by a female singer whose voice reminded him of Billie Holiday. He didn't catch the name of singer, and asked me to help. I don't know the answer, too, so I'm asking my fellow Yeddais to help. Can you help?

28 thumbs up

There are a surprising number of possibilities.  After listening to several covers, I'm starting to think that every female singer who covered this song tried to do it in a Billie Holiday style!

Here's one version, which I think is most promising.  If it's not the right one, maybe your friend will remember something else about the song or circumstances in which he heard it, which might help.
