You could try the OpenAjax Alliance website, they're trying to bring about some business friendly standards for Ajax.  If you're looking for more practical advice the Ajax Patterns website might be more the sort of thing you want, or try the YUI home page.  Other than that just have a look at the sites of the more popular frameworks:
