I had to start homeschooling 3 months into my senior year because I was modeling full-time, working full-time. I was enrolled in some privately owned home-based school in 1999 and I graduated from that same school (got my diploma in the mail.) Now I want to go back to school to make a better life for myself and my daughter and have no tangible diploma. My grandmother, the one who kept all of the records, died a few years back and I'm completely stuck! I have no idea how to get my records. Hoover High School in Birmingham, AL has all of my records up until I had to start homeschooling, but I didn't graduate from Hoover, just 9 months shy of doing so. Does ANYONE know how I could possibly get a copy of my diploma?! I really want to go back to school for my daughter and myself but right now it seems nearly impossible.
THANKS!

I think you should try contacting the school board, and explain to them your situation. They should have records of the students on the county and be able to help you. You can also try to get in touch with someone who you were you touch with during home school, that could maybe help you, a teacher, or student and learned with you.
