Just like ANYWHERE else in the world, it depends on the elevation they are cooking at...There are parts of Russia at sea level, you know...

High Altitude adjustments are not some "Western invention." When you cook at a higher altitude, no matter what part of this planet, boiling temperatures are lower, leavened goods do not rise as easily, etc. Adjustments have to be made...Food cooked longer, more leavening added, ect...

THINK for goodness sakes! "Regular." What defines "Regular cooking" to you, and why on Earth do you think it somehow "indiginous" to one part of the world over another? THINK.
