Asky wiley Curtis Stone a question here.I just learned I have to work Thanksgiving day, from 7a.-3:30p. I have a 22.24lb. Turkey..Normally, I would get an early start on my Turkey in the morning, but I do not want it over cooked, since I will not be home until around 4:00. what would you suggest I do?

Perhaps you can prepare the seasoning before work or the night before and have someone put it into the oven instead of you. I know it's not a great solution but if you could pull a favor from someone it could solve your problem.

I agree that you should ask someone else to help you out. Or, cook it the night before. A turkey that size would take about 4.5 to 5hrs to cook.

Please remember that poultry should NOT be cooked in a lower temperature than 325F. It is dangerous to cook it on a lower temp and you may end up very ill!

Good luck.
