A:Infants grow very fast and rarely stay in a size long. Wool requires knowledge to wash and block properly, a desire, and time to do so. New mothers rarely have either. Use acrylic "BABY Yarn." You will rarely find wool baby yarn and if you do avoid it. It probably won't get worn more than once and if it does may not survive washing.
