My fax modem can not detect ' some ' fax machines . Connecting yes because they hear the ring tone and they see my number . When receiving from those fax machines : connection OK , start receiving and finally ' nothing ' but : fault during receiving . XP with internal pci 56K Conexant modem . Check for the ink or lead printer may it is not fucntioning properly. You can use your computer as a fax machine via internet. Try ringcentral trial period. Its free.
