Very confusing pregency qeustion please read all advice welcomed.

Hi, ive taken two home pregnancy tests which both confime im pregeant, however my blood test was negitive and my signs and syptoms have changed, i still have belly pains but im no longer feeling the urge to be sick. and more signs have occured however i do not know if they are normal. Please help me as i am worried about my child and am i pregent?

Usually a blood test is more reliable than a home pregnancy test, so I don't know what to tell you. I think that you should try another HPT test now to see if it also comes up positive. If so, go back to your doctor. Tell him or her the situation and that you want them to help you understand why this is happening and if everything is ok. Good luck and wishing you all the best.

there are quite a few things that could make a hpt come up positive, when infact you are not. but then agian blood tests could be faulty or switched on accident..which is more rare than the other. i would go back and get another hpt and blood test, and if the same result comes up ask your dr what is causing the hpt to be positive.

Blood tests are considered more accurate, as was stated above.

It is possible that you had a chemical pregnancy, that showed initially on the HPT, but levels of the hormone later dropped, or maybe in your case the blood test was faulty. I suggest you do another blood test just to be sure. Anything above 25 is considered pregnant.

many surgeries do not perform pregnancies tests so i amunsure which blood test you may be referring to.if you feel you are several weeks pregnant  i suggest you ask for an ultrasound scan to prove the pregnancy is not an ectopic one.
