Very confusing and awkward situation.. i really need some answers

ok here it goes. hey everyone! i have a question..i am so lost and so confused and i really need answers. so i dated this guy for a year and a half. this past october we got our own apartment..and from there things went downhill. well we decided to split up and just remain friends. ok cool. i dont mind. hes fun to be around and i want to remain friends with him. so we live together still. we have our own separate bedrooms and we just hang out as friends. i am looking for a place with a girl friend of mine, because i think it would be weird to bring like another guy home while my ex is there..it would just be awkward. so heres the weird but cool and confusing part. i have been talking to this guy that i really like. we work together so ive known him for like 6 months. well we've been hanging out (as friends) and we've been texting eachother and all that stuff. well he likes me too, and we've already kissed and did "other things". everything seemed to be going great. then these past 2-3 days, he's been acting kind of funky. like i text him...and he doesnt text me back. i call him...he doesnt call me back. now i dont do these things every 2 seconds, so it's not like annoying him. i text him like in a 5 hour span and i only sent him like 2 messages. well he's not doing anything. no texts, no calls, i even emailed his work email from my phone (which he always checks) and no response. i did see him at work yesterday, and he didnt seem like himself. it was an awkward situation...but then after a few hours, he like "warmed up" to me, and my friend said we were flirting like crazy. he was taking my phone and being all cute with me. then after i left for work...i dont hear from him. whats up with him? my friend said that it could be he likes me a lot, but doesnt want to pursue because i still live with my boyfriend. i dont know whats wrong with him and its weird. he wasnt like this a few days ago, and now all of a sudden..he doesnt want to respond to me. he did something the other night as well that left me speechless. we were supposed to hang out the other night, and he was like ok cool we'll hang out, but it depends on the weather. (it was raining) well it stopped and i sent him a message saying "ok clear skies! im ready to bouce" well he texts back saying "where at?" now what do u think that means? where are we going to meet right? well, a minute after he texts me, i text him back saying a meeting place. well that text was the last i heard from him. i went to the place where i said i was going to be...texted him and called him saying that i was here and nothing...i waited for 20 mins before i said f this..im leaving. well i wasnt trying to be a stalker or anything, but i did drive by his apartment, just to see if his car was there. well guess what? his car was nicely backed in in his parking spot..his lights were all on in his apartment, and like i said..i was speechless. why the heck is he ignoring me, but acting all cute and flirty with me at work? i dont get it and i want to know whats up. (i would ask him, but i dont want him to get mad at me or something. i dont want to be a pest) so can somebody give me some ideas and what you think is wrong? sorry for the long story, i just wanted to give you in full detail on whats been going on. thanks! by the way: the guy that is acting strange is 26

If my kids have a good life, I will be happy

lovebuggg - This is why they don't recommend hooking up with people you work with. If it doesn't work out (Seems like it isn't), you still have to get along with them, or possibly lose your job. Work is work - bottom line. give him some space, and let him tell you what's up; either by talking, or actions. Keep it out of the workplace. Employers don't care if someone breaks your heart; they want production.

If it looks like a dog, talks like a dog, smells like a dog then it is just that and nothing more.

I think that he's not serious with you because you are still living with your ex in the same apartment. He probably thinks that you are still having sex with your ex. If I were you, I would talk to him and ask him what happened and if he does not want to pursue the relationship, you should respect his decision. A love relationship is mutual, not one sided. So I suggest that you move out of the apartment where your ex lives. That is not a good arrangement for both of you.

I think he is seeing someone else. OK, so he was home.. you don't know if he was there alone or with someone. My guess is, he was probably with someone. whenever a guy changes his attitude towards you without warning, it's almost always b/c he is interested in someone else. If the 2 of you are close, you should be able to talk to him about anything. If you can't, it never would have worked anyway. Just tell him to be honest with you.. that you won't get mad but need to know the truth. He might tell you, he might not.. but if he continues to be distant, you need to move on & leave him alone.. take a hint.

Oh good grief with all the real stuff in the world happening your silly question turned me off.

Whatever

woow.

umm sounds to me tha he just acts all cute and flirty with you when he wants something. because if he ignores yur text and calls . and doesnt show up it must mean he had "other" things to do like every man says.. to mee it seems like he  thinks of you as a rebound. tha someone on the side tha when ever he has the needs to play with yur head he does it and you sure reply to it which makes em think is ok.. but i dont blame you i noe you like him..

but yeaa umm dont let em do things like this.
