Trying to conceive for 6 months

I have been on the pill for 2 years and got off 6months ago.My husband and i have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months with no results.how much longer should i wait before i see a specialist?any tips???

It can take your body a few months to return to normal after the pill but there is not harm going to see a specialist and getting full tests as there could be something very simple that you can do differently, everyone is different.
