We have a dell xps. It had been running slow, one day we tried to start it and it will not get past the windows screen. We tried booting it up from the windows disk, nothing. We can get it to go to the screen that says start in safe mode and it will give us the msg
Stop: c0000221 ( bad image checksum does not match the computed check sum.
We also ran a diagnostic test and that had 2 errors in it
Can anyone help or is this just a lost cause. I know that the xps is plagued with issues but all my kid pictures are in it....yea I know...my husband has called it a lost cause but I still have hope.....
