How to get rid of an icon on my desk top?
Sometimes we put up walls not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.
Right Click, then hit delete. Be aware, however, that while some of the icons are shortcuts, some are actually programs. If you want to delete a program icon, it should be done through your Add or Delete Programs menu.
