I leased my commercial building and property and basically gave the guy 2 months free rent to get him in. It's time for him to start paying each month but when I went to pick up a check he said he wasn't going to pay because the lawn wasn't being mowed. There is nothing in the lease about the lawn and past tenants have taken care of it. My daughter went over a couple of weeks ago and mowed it for me just to be nice. We told him it was a one time deal but he insists we do it. I can hire someone but would need to charge him. Because of the economy I lowered the rent by $700 a month so there is no way I can pay without charging him. Any input would be apreciated.
