What color shirts go with brown corduroy pants?

It depends on what shade they are.  If they are more of a khaki color, blue goes very well with that.  For darker shades of brown, yellow is good.  An excellent book that could answer this question is "Color Me Beautiful".  I forgot who wrote it, but it's available in any library. 

if you want a formal look, white or cream button down works.
