"cluttered"

Dear kelly, It does not matter how much I try, I still cannot get rid of that 'cluttered look", in my home. Papers are every where, and I just feel overwhelmed, my projects that I have to do, IE- sewing, etc, are left on the dining room table. Do you have any suggestions for me, as it is causing me alot of problems at home. Thank you Natalie

Hi there, I sometimes have the same problem with clutter.  Then I take a good look around and find uses for storage. For example, I found a cute armour and moved it into the house.  In the dining room I put a good coat of Liquid Gold on it, and loaded all my tee towels and etc. in it.  Had room left over so I also put my most used spices (have hundreds too) inside the cabinet and everything is right at my fingertips.  Also a wire bakers rack will hold small appliances and get them off the counter top.  If you don't have the floor space, hang shelves from the ceiling above your sink, stove, etc. Am in the process of putting two shelves above my kitchen island. Suspending them with cable and only closing in the back and two ends. Then will get diamond plate (cheap one) and wrap it around the sides and back.  My other spices will go there. Ready for cooking.  When you can't go down, go up.  Good luck.
