Try to spray a little hairspray onto a cloth and dab the stain very gently. The alcohol in the hairspray will fade the ink and gradually remove it.

Be careful, though, that the spray isn't too harsh for the leather - as soon as you see it begin to dull, stop.

Spread some Vaseline (petroleum jelly) on afterwards to moisturise the leather.

Not much.  The sooner you work on it the better your chances.  goo be gone may work or a little hairspray.   Ink is a combination stain.  It has an oil base and dye that is not intended to come off.  It water and  solvent repellent.  I usually try to get the ink out first and then combine leather finishes to match the color.  I create a 'paint' stain that will mask over the ink stain.  The leather furniture repair company or the used car lot detail guy can help.
