How do I clean or get rid of the pink film that forms on the edges and corners of the water reservoir of my coffee maker?

Our city has well water for the city water and I too get that pink stuff on my grout in the bathroom. Have you tried cleaning your coffee maker with white vinegar? See if that helps. Good luck!
