Cuban cigars is the term that is commonly used for cigars that are made with Cuban-seed tobacco and hand rolled using typical Cuban techniques. Cuban cigars do not need to come out of Cuba as most great cigar makers and rollers have left Cuba. Most are now living in Miami, Florida. Cigars made in Cuba are normally called Habanos. This is a result of the government partnership with a cigar marketer that has the worldwide rights to the cigars that are made in Cuba.
