A:This can be caused by many factors. If the humidor is placed in direct sunlight it can cause this. Obviously it was working fine and something changed to make it deviate from where the humidity needs to be. One common reason is the overuse of
humidor solution. If you in fact used humidor solution more than once every 3 months or so, then you may have rendered your humidifier useless and the propolyne glycol will build up and not allow the water in the humidor to dissipate properly. If that is the case, call the store you bought it from and replace the humidifier. That should resolve the problem. Otherwise call Cuban Crafters, the manufacturer, and trouble shoot it with the customer service department. Humidor solution is very usefull if used properly. Always follow the instructions on the bottle. You should only use it when you initially activate the humidor and then every 3 months or so thereafter. Every other time only use distilled water to keep you humidity at the perfect level.
