Why worry about your menstrual delay, that is minor to the damage cigarette smoking causes to your general health; effects on your lungs, heart and passing health problems to your children. If you just started it will be easier for you to stop than if it becomes habitual. Please STOP NOW.

I agree with brosen that you really should stop smoking. Cigarette smoke is known to contain a large number of compounds, some of which are suspected to cause damage to the reproductive system. Menstrual cycles of heavy smokers tend to be shorter and more irregular than those of non-smokers. There are also some differences in hormone patterns by smoking status. Shorter cycles (in general) have been linked to earlier menopause and to higher risk of breast cancer. If that is not enough to motivate you to stop smoking now then I hope you find your motivation to quit soon!

Its never too late to ask.

Quite possibly, smoking will affect your entire life, everything from skin including facial features, to your internal organs. STOP NOW you may not live to regret it. I have never smoked in my life. Too bad I can't tell how old I really am. What a surprise you'd get.
