I need christmas help for a family of 1 age 14 ...

To Whom This May Concern:

My name is Sonjonnia Craighead and I am requesting increase in my disability. I am currently a 0% rated; Service connected Army Veteran. I am asking for your assistance in this matter. I am also doubled up with my living arrangements (no lease or mortgage in my name) and I am requesting to apply as a homeless veteran. From what I researched, being homeless my claim would be expedited, under the new ruling for homeless veterans. I would like to also file for pension if I qualify.

I have four children. My son  Savieon 9 yrs, daughter Shar’Dez 8 yrs, daughter Shyriealle 7yrs, and son  Troy 1 yrs old. I am in need of financial assistance, to pay rent and utilities. All my kids suffer from Reactive Airway Disease and require breathing treatments. My son, Savieon was the only child that was receiving SSI, but his payments stopped May 2007. I am working on trying to apply for all my kids to receive SSI. Also, if you know of any agencies that assist with obtaining a car. I really need a car to obtain work. There is no bus system or other means of transportation. I live in a small rural area. If you know anyone, agency, organization, or company that helps obtain a free donated car, please let me know. I would greatly and sincerly appreciate this. 

I am experiencing financial hardship due to (unemployment, serious health problems involving my family and me, and not receiving court ordered child support in a timely manner).. May 2, 2009 my car was hit by a woman high on drugs. My car was totaled. I did not receive funds back, due to the car having a lien hold, so the car lot got this. I have been homebound since then.

I have fallen behind on my payments because my income has dropped considerably, these past few months. My only income was my GI Bill which ceased September 27, 2009. Due to the school semester period ending. It will expire August 2010.

Due to my unemployment I will not be able to provide Christmas for my children as well. I‘d greatly appreciate any assistance in this matter from your agency or if you know of agency that can help.

I am sure this is only a temporary condition I am experiencing and very soon I will be able to make my payments in full again.
