The following is a poem written by Judge Roy ...

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama!! The judge's poem sums it up quite well; America the beautiful, or so used to be.

Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray

We've kept God in our
temples, how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not
angry that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee..

~~Judge Roy Moore~~

Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.

We are still a country based on separation of church and state.

MY FUR BABIES MAX AND SHILOHWink

God did not give me the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.  11Timothy 1:7

That is a beautiful poem.  I would like to meet the Judge that wrote it and shake his hand.  It hurts me to know the little babies who are MURDERED by their mother's and the doctors who do the cruel acts, will never be allowed to grow, laugh and play.  What a sad, sad thing to do.  God has a very special place for those little ones who have been aborted.

Good job, a very deep and honorable poem. I didn't understand why we have division of church and state, but one day I fell in love with a wonderful Jewish man, I come from a baptist family and my daddy is a minister, I never really understood the world outside my home, When my daughter was born I started to understand how some ignorant uninformed people can label a marriage and family by what is in there heart and soul. Feeling as if they had a right to dictate to my husband and myself just how we are messing our child's future up by not giving her solid ground. I think back and it still amazes me how some people come to the conclusion that my love for my husband is hurting my child. They tried to force us to decide and put her in a class of either Christian or Jew. On the separation of church and state I can understand now what it means, but, but, but the same goes for a person having the right to have the 10 commandments on there wall and it shouldn't matter where that wall is. No one has spoken a word to another, He never said to follow these commandments or live in Christ, The judge said nothing, I feel he was targeted and made an example of. If we can let someone like Manson walk around with a swastika on his forehead then why on earth is it a crime to have something on your wall, People have the control to either read it or walk on by. What about things like a swastika  that speaks loudly to everyone that just walk by, To strip this judge of everything he worked for is preposterous. I do understand that his chambers or where ever it is, isnt his private property, I do get that, but come on.. To nit pick on something like that is ridiculous. What about the atheist, Do they NOT use the American dollar????   It says In GOD We Trust. The next thing we know is that there will be a dollar for non believers and another for believers. Where do we draw the line. Im proud of the judge. Conforming isn't good in my book. We loose so much of our selves when we let the outside influence who we are on the inside. I have 3 children now, and they are very well rounded, Respectful, caring children, They love and accept everyone and everything in there life. They was brought up knowing that there is many difference in this world, and GOD doesn't make mistakes, but he does give us the choice, and what we do from that point on is all on us. Thank you judge, I would have done the same thing. Susan H-K Michigan bungysqk@aol.com

Mr.Judge Roy Moore,You did nothing wrong.we are supposed to be liveing in the land of the free,Don't you think that's become a thing of the pass? The ten commandments should be in all the schools ,court rooms.We as christians are still bound to live by the ten commandments.It is just wrong for the judge to be treated this way .He is being striped of his rights.All people have the right to read or not to read.Let tell you God is still in control.And if you don't believe that their is a day coming that you will wish you had!!!

Love everybody!Smile

It is a sad day in America when we can no longer have the Ten Commandments posted in our Courts or court house. They went too far and mistreated the judge.

People who go agaist Christianity get by with too much. We should fight back. Where are the Christian congressman and Judges? Give everyone the right to put their plaques up also, not just ours.
