Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

There are many religious people.  They follow doctrines that, supposedly, makes them better, more enlightened people and makes their lives more worthwhile.

Salvation is the concept that God grants eternal life and other rewards to those who accept His provisional gift.

There are many religions; they have many rules and requirements which their members must keep to remain a part of their group. While Christianity may also be included as one of the religions, it is distinguished from others in that Jesus Christ calls us to follow him and to Love God, to love ourselves, and to love our fellow human beings as ourselves. It is in confessing our sin and need  to be forgiven our sin and imperfection that we receive salvation-the free gift of acceptance by God and the joy and peace that man can not other wise find. It is as simple as accepting God's gift of forgiveness or salvation  as one commit ones life to Christ.

Religion is the outward practices and appearance of what one believes regarding the divine. Spirituality is how one cultivates and disciplines one's awareness of the will of God within his or her daily life. ¶Unfortunately, people who spend little time looking for God, or do not care to understand the ways and will of God, don't see much difference between these two terms. As a result, the skeptic tends to use the term "religion" as a derogative synonym for the regulated practices of one who may well be pursuing a serious spirituality.

Salvation is what one receives thru the gift of Jesus Christ on Calvary.  Religion is a false following in which people get caught up in and believe if they do what their religion requires of them, they will get to Heaven.  All religions go by some Scripture and then have their own "little book" one must follow. That is why so many "christians" have a different point of view.  I hear a lot of catholics today calling themselves Christians and they are the most lost souls in the world.  They worship Mary, saints and idols, all are condemned by God.  My God is a jealous God and gets angry when people worship another. Who are they to be worshipped? They, too, were created by God, and Satan deceives so many to believe that it is OK to pray to someone or something else.  Stick with Scripture only and find Salvation thru Jesus Christ and don't get involved in any church that tells you differently!  Satan would love for you to get involved in a religion because he can give you "false security" in them.  Merry Christmas!!

Exzucuh !  I am a Christian...so I will tell you this...Salvation...is when you accept Jesus Christ, as personal Savior.  Religion...is to follow the teachings of the word of God...which therefore makes me a religionist person.  So the two...go hand and hand for me.  The Bible...is the rule and guide of my faith.   And by faith...I will have enternal life in Heaven...with my Savior !

Blessings,

Jackson

The difference in religion and true spirituality is in personal relationship over religious manmade traditions and ritual.
